New Flex Online MBA Program Launched by Mays Business School

Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School is making waves in the world of business education with the launch of its new Flex Online Master of Business Administration program. This innovative program is designed to cater to the needs of working professionals who are looking to enhance their skills and advance their careers without having to put their lives on hold.

The Flex Online MBA program, set to kick off in August, offers a unique blend of flexibility and structure. Participants will have the freedom to complete their coursework at their own pace, thanks to the primarily asynchronous nature of the program. However, they will also have the opportunity to engage with their peers and instructors through live weekly online cohort sessions, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.

According to Jerry Strawser, associate dean for graduate programs at Mays Business School, the Flex Online MBA program aims to bring the benefits of a Mays MBA to students regardless of their location or schedule. This program is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is about developing future business leaders who embody the core values of Texas A&M University.

To be eligible for admission to the program, candidates must have at least two years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree. Prospective students can express their interest in the program by submitting their resume and unofficial transcripts for review. Qualified candidates will then be invited for interviews before a final admission decision is made. Given the anticipated high demand for this program, interested individuals are encouraged to submit their expressions of interest as soon as possible.

The Flex Online MBA program is part of Mays Business School’s broader Flex Online portfolio, which includes a range of specialized master’s programs such as the Master of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Management Information Systems. Additionally, the school is planning to launch the Flex Online Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Master of Science in Marketing programs in the near future, pending approval.

Mays Business School has a strong reputation as one of the top public business schools in the country, with a vast network of over 40,000 alumni spread across the globe. By enrolling in the Flex Online MBA program, students will not only benefit from the school’s esteemed faculty and curriculum but also become part of Texas A&M University’s extensive “Aggie Network” of more than 500,000 former students.
